The Love
Story Library Policies:
- We request a
$25 annual donation per family. This fee is due in January of each
year. The first year you become a Love Story patron, this amount
is prorated from that date.
- When you become
a patron, you will be issued a library card. Please have this card
with you and use it whenever you check out materials. When you
sign the card, you will be agreeing to follow all Love Story guidelines
and pay all fees assessed to the card.
As many members
of your family as you want may have their own individual cards,
but children will be required to have a parent’s signature
confirming their willingness to be responsible for any fines
they may incur.
- Because we recognize
that many people will be driving a significant distance to patronize
the Love Story, the lending period has been set at four (4) weeks
for all items.
- Overdue items
will be charged as follows:
Books - $.25 per day
Videos and Audio sets - $.50 per day
Failure
to pay overdue charges may result in loss of borrowing privileges.
(Note: Items may
be returned to the library any business day Monday through Friday
between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Items may only be borrowed during posted library
hours.)
- Lost items or
items not returned within three months of their due date will be
charged full replacement cost. Failure to promptly pay such charges
may result in loss of borrowing privileges.
- Damaged items
will be individually evaluated and appropriate charges assessed
based on original cost, age and amount of damage. Failure to promptly
pay such charges may result in loss of borrowing privileges.
